Eligibility

Membership in USF Federal Credit Union is available to faculty, staff and students of the University of South Florida, members of the USF Alumni Association and affiliated organizations.  Even better, once a member you can remain a member for life, regardless of where your path may take you!

Who can join?

• All USF faculty, staff and students on any USF campus
• Employees of organizations housed on a USF campus, including USF Research Park
• Current members of the USF Alumni Association
• Immediate family or household members of current USF FCU members
• Retired persons receiving a pension or annuity from USF
• Employees or retirees of USF Federal Credit Union affiliate businesses
• Employees and officials of the Municipal, State and Federal Government in Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, Desoto, Charlotte and Lee County, FL
• Military personnel (active or Veteran) stationed or working in Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, Desoto, Charlotte or Lee County, FL 
• Members of any Anabaptist congregation in Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, Desoto, Charlotte or Lee County, FL
• Employees of Darden are served through our division, Darden Credit Union

New! Members of the American Consumer Council (ACC) - If you are or would like to become a member of the ACC, then you can now join the credit union! When you apply, under Eligibility, select the option, “None of the Above. I’d like to qualify by joining the American Consumer Council (ACC). There is no cost to join.” This will give us permission to process and enroll you into the ACC. There is no additional cost to you for joining the ACC. You can learn more about the ACC here.

Family Membership

Once you’re a member of USF FCU, everyone in your immediate family also becomes eligible to join. Better yet, once a family member joins, this same eligibility tree extends from them.  This includes Spouse/Domestic Partner, Parents, Grandparents, Children, Grandchildren, and Siblings.
