Password Safety

  • If you need assistance with managing your passwords, a password management app or software may be helpful. This is a lot more secure than saving your password with your internet browser or writing it down.
  • Activate any two-factor authentication options that may be available.
  • In online banking, you can enable two-factor authentication for every login attempt by going to Settings, Security, and then turning on the "Require Two-Factor Authentication for Each Login" option. Each time that you log in, you will be prompted to answer your security questions on file or enter in a code that is sent via email. text or call.

Keep an Eye Out

  • Keep track of activity on your credit union accounts using our Notifications and Text Banking features. Report any suspicious activity as soon as possible.
  • If you receive an alert regarding unusual activity on your credit or debit card, please contact us immediately.

Guard Against Fraud

  • Don't respond to unsolicited emails, phone calls or text messages asking for account or debit card numbers, or other personal information.

  • Never share passwords and PIN numbers with anyone.

  • Be careful what you post on social media. The sites are frequent hangouts for fraudsters.
