Yes, we offer a student line of credit up to $5,000 with draws paid directly to the student's school. Additionally, we offer private student loans with higher amounts in partnership with Student Choice. Our student loan options offer zero origination fees and lower rates than many lenders. They are structured as a Line of Credit, allowing students to draw funds for future semesters with just one application.

To take advantage of Skip-A-Pay, log in to your Digital Banking account and click on the Skip-A-Pay icon/widget.  You will have the option to transfer the fee from your USF FCU savings or checking account. The funds must be available in your account prior to the time you submit your Skip-A-Pay request. Please schedule your Skip-A-Pay request at least 5 business days prior to your loan due date.

Interest accrues daily based on the remaining, unpaid principal balance. Each time a payment is made the funds are applied in the following order: 1) toward the accrued interest since the previous payment, and 2) remaining funds toward the unpaid principal balance and/or other fees as applicable.

If payments are not received by the scheduled due date, the final payment can differ from the scheduled payment amount that is listed on your loan contract. For example, if payments are made prior to the scheduled due date, less interest accrues and the principal balance will reduce at a faster rate. Conversely, if payments are paid after the scheduled due date, more interest accrues.

A minor may get a checking account with debit card at the age of 16.  They will need a qualified co-borrower to apply for a loan.

Once you have moved, visit that state’s motor vehicle office to register your vehicle. Most states will forward a form to us requesting the title from your previous state. Once we receive the form, we will forward the paper title to your new home state. This process can take around 2-4 weeks. If you want to pay your Visa from an external account at another financial institution, there are several options available:

1. Use the Bill Pay Service offered by your other Financial Institution to send your payment.
2. Make a payment in person at any USF FCU or Shared Branch Location.
3. Link your external account in Digital Banking to allow transfers between your bank/credit union share accounts. After you've verified your external account by confirming the amount of the two trial deposits sent to your external account (this takes 2-3 business days to deposit), you’ll be ready to transfer money. Please note, external account transfers to a Visa take 3-4 business days to process. For instructions on linking an external account, please watch our tutorial video.
4. Make an immediate payment to Visa using the Pay-by-Phone service. Please call 866.820.3942. A small fee of $5.00 does apply.
5. If you’d like to set up recurring monthly payments from an external bank account, we can do this for you. You can choose to either pay the minimum payment, total balance or a fixed dollar amount monthly. To request this, please send a secure message through online or mobile banking to the topic "Visa Payment from External Account Setup" and complete the required information.

No, you do not have to be a current member to apply for a loan; but you must be eligible to become a member.  If approved, we will open your membership with your loan.

Yes, we offer first mortgages for purchase and refinance as well as home equity loans and lines of credit.
